<strong>Windows Boot in Under 30 Seconds</strong>
As someone above already said it is all up to how many programs you have running in your start up menu. Disable the things you are not going to need during boot: Print drivers, Adobe (anything), Google Updater, bluetooth, Back up Managers, Media Players, Third party Desktop managers for your phone/pda ect.
I use http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner, a free third party management software. Go to the Tool>Start Up> Right Click on program to be disabled and close out.
Or you can just do it Old school go to CMD>Misconfig (Win 7 & Vista type in start window), Startup tab, Uncheck all non essential programs starting up that your OS dose not need to boot. While your at it go to Boot tab> Time out: 30 and change it to 03> click Apply> Click Ok. Restart your OS.
Note: You can change your Time Out to whatever number you want. I have never changed it to below 03 because it will be a pain in the ass to catch Pre-boot options in the future if you ever have to read them to select which Function Key to press for boot options if your systems MBR needs to be fixed or rebuild.
