One of the many things that have changed in this version of Windows is that you no longer get the confirmation prompt when deleting files & folders.
Luckily however this is an easy option to re-enable. To re-enable the prompt right click on the recycle bin on the desktop and choose properties where you will see the option to “Display delete confirmation dialog”
