Have you ever faced similar problems while trying to copy something to your usb stick it says that your USB stick is write protected, or then your USB stick shows only 1GB though it's a 8GB stick, and formatting USB stick is not an option, I'm quite sure of that you think that your USB stick is dead, but that's not the case here, it's far from dead, there's a very small and portable but very effective software made by Apacer, running that software will fix your usb stick in seconds.

Works with these Operating Systems: WinME/2000/XP/Vista/7
Architecture: x86/x64
Size: 512KB

Download:
Code: Select all

How to use:
Connect your broken USB stick to your computer, run Formatter.exe by Administrator, then just follow the steps, your USB stick will be like a new one in few seconds until your will mess up it again...lol

PS: This tool really replaces CMD as a USB formatter/fixer, very effective software in small size!

I had this problem with my 8GB stick. I had to download software from Sony to fix it but lost all the data. This is a handy tool.

I saw this before somewhere, Apacer makes a repair utility for each model of USB stick they carry, each one seems custom tailored for the model # if i recall. One i used before was low level format tool from HDDGURU . believe it works in a similar fashion.

Thanks Mate
