So in this tutorial I'm going to demonstrate how to remove Windows service dependencies, for example Windows Audio Endpoint Builder and Multimedia Class Scheduler dependencies, it's actually very easy.
Step 1:
Backup your registry!
Step 2:
Open regedit and navigate here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\AudioSrv
Step 3:
Next find this key and double click it:
DependOnService
Step 4:
Now remove all the other items there but leave RpcSs behind
Step 4b:
You will get a notification which tells you that there is empty strings, but ignore it
Step 5:
Restart your computer
Step 6:
Open Services.msc, then find and stop these services:
Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
Multimedia Class Scheduler
Step 7:
As you can see now you can stop those services above, no dependencies anymore, and Windows Audio service still works and audio will play
