So in this tutorial I'm going to demonstrate how to remove Windows service dependencies, for example Windows Audio Endpoint Builder and Multimedia Class Scheduler dependencies, it's actually very easy.

Step 1:

Backup your registry!

Step 2:

Open regedit and navigate here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\AudioSrv

Image

Step 3:

Next find this key and double click it:

DependOnService

Step 4:

Now remove all the other items there but leave RpcSs behind

Step 4b:

You will get a notification which tells you that there is empty strings, but ignore it

Step 5:

Restart your computer

Step 6:

Open Services.msc, then find and stop these services:

Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
Multimedia Class Scheduler

Step 7:

As you can see now you can stop those services above, no dependencies anymore, and Windows Audio service still works and audio will play
