There's new feature in Chromium called Profile Management, but it's not enabled by default, you can enable it via chrome://flags if you like.

Like you can see there is a new avatar image next to the tab on the left side.
But how can you enable this feature, it's very simple:
1. Open chrome://flags or about:flags, then search this:
Enable new profile management system
2. Just Enable it and relaunch your browser, done.

And if you open this:
chrome://settings/manageProfile#0
Then this window appears:
When this window is open you can change your avatar.
