Hi I would like to make a hack0ish machine

I cannot find any information any where here my specs

ASUS G53SX (Laptop)
Direct X 11
8 GB Ram up too 16GB Ram
Intel Core I7 2670QM 2.2 Ghz
2x 500 GB Hard Drive
Nvidia 3D Play
Backlit keys

Install OS X via vmware first so you can setup the install USB to make it a bit easier. You can also get used to it a bit

I will post how to setup and install once you have it installed on vmware.

I looked at specs on line that laptop could potentially run OSX without issues. Then again, im not sure what bluetooth it has and network card. Some on laptops are picky. I agree with Shane though, get virtualbox or Vm up and working, and put OSX on it to test drive before you jump.

i think Lion 10.7.x or Mountain Lion 10.8.x would be ideal to work with.

Mountain Lion should run no problem at all. If the wireless wont work you can pick up a Atheros AR5B91 cheap on eBay that works right away as apple use them. Bluetooth I will need the device and vendor ID and I could try make a kext for it unless a DSDT would work then Giin is the guy for that
