I use a 8GB USB and I think its a faster install compared to DVD, Quieter too lol

Like I said you can try it. Its just personal preference that I don't like his methods. It may be possible to inject your cards ID's into a kext.

There are drivers with its name so you may be in luck. If not will try patch it for you.

It should be fine yes. I use a 8GB but some people have problems. Hopefully this will be plain sailing =]
