How to Install Windows 7 from Internal Hard Disk

Hi guys,
I have recently learnt a method by which we can install Windows 7 directly from our internal HDD, ofcourse from other partition of our internal HDD.
For this you need to put all your installation files in the root of any partition, no need to format it, no need to make that partition active, nothing, even if you have other files that also not going to affect your installation.
Now just download this application
Code: Select allhttp://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/

Non commercial version of this application is free, you might need to register to download this application.
After installing this application open it, you would see this window, just follow the instruction given in the screenshots.

After restart you would see this window "Windows 7 Alaska SP1" is your current OS and you can start your installation by selecting "Install Alaska" option.

So you could always keep your Windows installation files in your computer another HDD and install your Windows from it? So no need for dvd or usb anymore? Will it install it faster too because of its NTFS, at least it should install it faster because usb stick uses fat32 if I understand it correctly, installing Windows from NTFS should be much faster.

Well I can't say, as I have been installing Alaska only with this method and didn't try to install Alaska with USB or DVD so I don't know about the time factor, but I like it for it being most convenient for me.

So this happened for me again....I'm not sure why my Asus keeps doing this, when I used HP there's wasn't this kinda bug at all never, it's this stupid Asus what's acting weird.

But this is what I get no matter if I'm installing from usb stick or this method, looks like Asus forces me to use a dvd as a installation source.

Have you modify your setup.exe of sources folder?

Maybe this happens because I have a internet "usb stick", it's 4G LTE, and when I install it's driver it changes my dvd station to cd station, I even uninstalled all the drivers which it installed but still my computer shows my dvd stations as a cd station, maybe that's is the reason why I'm getting this error every time. Though I never had this error when I used HP branded laptop...
