Ok here's the little monster! Acer aspire one D257 Intel Atom N570 equipped with ROG 64 Bit 2Gb Ram DD3 and 60 GB OCZ SSD. I mean :wtf: :dirol: Only on Tweakscene! lol

My wife has a similar netbook also an AspireONE. I made a version of 7 just for it and it runs better than with the original XP. That atom cpu is as slow as hell and I hate update the software on it.

It works great now,. Off course you wouldn't invest on an SSD on purpose. I had an extra one that I was not able to re-sell so I just had to use it. It's pretty amazing how much faster it is now. I also added a 6 cell battery that I took from an older model. I used wisely spare parts and the outcome is remarkable for a netbook. ROG 64 bit makes a big difference as well.

pretty cool, sux your limitied to what you can upgrade and speed up on em tho....I may have an older one coming from a friend soon and I know I will be tinkering with it, once I do I'll make a post as well ;) but overall sounds like it works better than before and that always a plus

elow im a noob on ssd i have a laptop with a board of clevo model e412x and a hdd of toshiba mk3265gsx ata device

my question is can i replace it with a 6Gbps SATA interface ssd?

my hdd is i think its a 3Gbps Sata interface

Not the section for it but yes you can as they are backwards compatible, you will just be around the 3Gbps speed instead of the 6Gbps speed.
