i do not take any credit for this i just found it on deviant art and thought id share
To use it do the following.
Just take ownership and give yourself full control of wmploc.dll then rename your original with a .bak extension, just in case you want to use it again. Then just copy the modified wmploc.dll to your system folder. x86 is System32, x64 is SysWOW64

known error:
a error that says "The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 12.0.7600.16385 where 12.0.7600.16667 was expected
The Fix:
Open my modified wmploc.dll with resource hacker or a similar program and go to string "Version Info" substring "1" click on file "1033". you will find two(2) spots that have "FILEVERSION" & two(2) spots that have "PRODUCTVERSION" just enter the version "that was expected" from that error into all four(4) spots. After that, just hit the "Compile Script" button at the top and save. If it says can't save to destination(or something like that), just "save as" to your desktop and then just replace the file like you did already.
