Found a few more pics of the case here

The cable braiding looks awesome but can be very time consuming, been debating doing that for a while now myself lol. Me personally I would open up the side fan hole for one of the SP's and def paint the inside lol. Looks like top opens up but is there anyplace to mount a fan there? Would also cut all the fan mesh crap out and put grills on or foam filters since the mesh has a way of cutting down air flow and foam filters are fairly easy to clean. There's quite a few AIO coolers that you can get fairly cheap now too if you decide on going that way but if your air flow is good along with temps then I wouldn't worry too much about it. I would def use a fan on the front just to help with directing the air. On mine I found that if I draw air in from the rear and top of the case and exhaust out the front my temps are lower but it's been different with every case I've owned so you may just have to play around with em to find the best :coo:

It still works, just a bit tricky. you need to remove everything after the &

Example from the videos above:

Original:
Code: Select allhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeCs98TSsYQ&hd=1

trimmed:
Code: Select allhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeCs98TSsYQ

This is the culprit: &hd=1

Thanks for the videos BigB. Chevy the top portion is where the PSU is and I have all the cables hidden there lol. I currently have a SP120 on the front but plan on cutting the front plate to get more air flow. The Mobo fan is currently screwed to the bottom of the CPU fan and hovers over my GPU lol. Need to extend the cables on the fan so it can be places else where.

ahhhh...wasn't sure what was up there since the pics only showed it flipping up and removed......you could also check into a bay fan controller if you have the space, they are some pretty straight forward ones with switches all the way up to ones with touch screens

I am planing to add a side window and possibly paint the case. I am looking for some suggestions for the top modders here ;) I know there are some. What would be the best design for this case.

Thanks

I feel a little odd posting such a late reply but was wondering if you ever ended up modding a window or anything on your case?

I would definitely suggest cutting out a nice big square on that side panel and installing an acrylic window and some u-channel side molding to give it a clean professional look. If I were you I would make the cut so you wouldn't see the drive bays something like this:

Definitely do some sleeving with some MDPC triple braid sleeving like this:

I know sleeving is very time consuming so IMO if you want the best sleeve extensions I would get in touch with Mike at Lutroo Customs for the most beautiful and professionally done extensions:
Code: Select allhttp://lutro0-customs.com/products/custom-pet-plastic-type-extensions

He does custom work to your specs as well as paracord.

Great video guides over there also:

I see how the PSU is top mounted so you might consider fabricating some type of shroud to hede the wires and possibly drill or cut out some channels for the cables to com from behind the motherboard tray using grommets to give it a nice clean look.

I usually post all of my build logs under the name "brianwhite" over on
Code: Select allhttp://themodzoo.com/forum/index.php?/forum/18-member-worklogs/
plus there are a great group of guys there all willing to help you or make suggestions as far as modding a case.

Good luck and hope you have fun, please post some pics if you already got done and happy modding.

Thanks for the post. I haven't had much time to do anything with it yet. I have uchannel waiting for when I do the window which will be like this,

I'm going to hide most of the cables so not going to bother with sleeving. My drives are currently mounted in the top 5" bays on one side lol I need to make a new cage for them which I can mount them vertically to get some airflow to them.

you might mod in some extra expansion, usb 3, esata etc to the other side of the case or top. you will need to clean up the inside a bit, also cut out a resess for the cpu backing plate cooler mount etc
