Not sure what it is but the blue box left of the start menu. Is it a bug or is it supposed to be there?

Too confirm why it does that, I used the no blur technique in my theme, it removes the blur from the startmenu except from that small part in the bottom left, but when you make the glass colour dark and see through 'like I explained above' then its not noticeable
