To begin with your CPU must support Virtual Hardware.

Download VMWare 7 from your sources.

Then download the VMWare image from this link:

Code: Select allhttp://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2445734/14901688/

You will also need Empire EFI from here:

Code: Select allhttp://prasys.info/2010/01/empire-efi-v-1-085-is-out/

Once you have all the files open VMWare and open the .vmx file from the Mac download. Change the Network to NAT and set the CPU and RAM settings to what you need.
You will then need to place the Empire EFI ISO in to the same folder as the Mac vmx file. Edit the VMWare settings once again to that the ISO being used is not Darwin but Empire EFI.

Not run the workstation.

When Empire EFI screen loads highlight mac HDD not the disc and press F8.

Type the following,

-v busratio=7 cpus=1

You should then boot into Snow Leopard.

Any questions just and I will do my best to help.

Proof of it working:

I got it working by using Empire EFI. I was getting the CPU Restart error using Darwin

Like I said I tried everything from safe mode to acrh=i386 etc everything while running Darwin. But Empire EFI fixed it all :) :mon:

On a side note, darwin boot is designed for intel processors. I personally have never gotten it to work on AMD's so I have to use efi for those cpu's. I also never had any issues with the mouse once I installed the vmware tools in it.
